About Course

Bachelor of Business Administration with emphasis in Hotel Management program is designed to prepare students to enter the hospitality industry at the supervisory level in various functional areas of hotel and catering operation. It combines management theory with hands-on hospitality courses, professional internship and business specialization. The course prepares students to enter the world of hospitality as leaders and mangers with strategic approach to business. Its main aim is to apply management principles to solve industry’s business problems related to hotel and hospitality management. The program in partnership with Sripatum University of Thailand is approved by Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of Government of Nepal and equivalent status conferred by the Tribhuvan University. Our hotel management graduates have access to diverse job profile and opportunities. Further education and professional training gained in the field of hospitality services enable students to become entrepreneurs of hospitality services as well. Apart from this, the program also focuses on developing personal skills of students as aspirant with good personality is always preferred in the industry.

Scholarships

We offer many generous scholarships. Candidates can apply for any of the categories of the scholarship based on their circumstances meeting the criteria set for the each of the relevant category. Initially, scholarships are awarded based on the candidate’s previous academic performance, personal interview, extra-curricular activities and special talents.

Internship & Placement

Internship is the main part of the HM program; we place our students at various world-class hotels in China, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, Dubai, Thailand. Latin America and other countries for their internship. Students are required to complete an industry training period in hospitality enterprises arranged by the college. Students get stipend during industrial training as set by the enterprises on contractual basis. Students should meet the requirements set by the college to for internship. Field Visit

With its focus on imparting practical knowledge, NTP regularly arranges field visit for students aimed at making them acquainted with real world scenarios of what they have learned in classroom discussions and through textbooks. Field visits are organized twice a year for hotel management students as they pursue three years of the total four year’s program in Nepal. These visits help students to be familiar with Nepal’s local contexts as compared to global scenario and gain practical experience so that they can easily compete with others in competitive job market both in Nepal and abroad when they graduate.

Facilities & Extra Activites

NTP College provides students with some extra curriculum activities and facilities for the growth of the students.

NTP is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories facilities. Experienced faculty members with decades-long research experience provide students appropriate guidance as they involve in lab works. We encourage students to indulge in research activities, and with the set-up we have in place, they have a great opportunity to hone their skills and knowledge.

 

NTP’s library has thousands of books and other reference materials for students. Students can also access high-speed internet service in the library. Students can consult reference materials available in the college library as they are encouraged to go beyond what they have learned in classroom and through prescribed textbooks. They can also search reference materials through various online sources.

NTP encourages participation of students in various sports activities. The college has facilities to play basketball, badminton, table tennis and in its premises. The college also organizes football and other sports activities on regular basis. These activities not only help students to stay physically and mentally fit, but also develop spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork.

College has a spacious hygienic cafeteria that serves a variety of food items. Similarly, college has its own transportation system to the needy students.

  • MORNING SHIFT – 6:00 am to 9:00 am (5 days a week)
  • EVENING SHIFT – 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm (5 days a week
